Deploying DaDesktop On-Premise (ddOP)


CPU	AMD64-compatible architecture In our tests in Germany, the minimum validated spec is an Intel Xeon E5-2600v2 series or later. For best performance, we recommend a Xeon E5-2600v3, AMD Zen2, or newer processor. There's no theoretical limit on cores, but anything under 4 cores will feel sluggish. The CPU must support Intel VT-d or the AMD equivalent, and this feature needs to be enabled in your BIOS.
Memory	At least 32 GB of DDR4 RAM or more recent. While there is no hard floor – the system footprint is about 4 GB – this is our baseline recommendation.
Disk	An SSD or NVMe drive with 64 GB or more of space. Ideally, two physical disks are installed and configured in a mirrored setup for redundancy.

The system works with Ubuntu 22.04 and later releases. Debian 11 and newer are also supported, although we perform fewer tests on those.
