Privacy Policy

NobleProg Ltd., registered in England and Wales and operating under the name DaDesktop. Should you have any queries regarding this policy or how we handle data privacy, feel free to reach out to us at dd@nobleprog.co.uk

DaDesktop is committed to respecting the privacy of everyone who uses our services. This document outlines the ways we gather and process your personal data, along with the safeguards we have in place to keep your information secure.

Services

DaDesktop can be provided from a NobleProg data centre based in the EU, available through the following options:

We only gather and use your personal information to the extent needed to deliver our services, or for the lawful reasons set out in this policy. It’s worth noting that data collection and storage differ significantly depending on which hosting option you go with.

NobleProg hosted public server

This runs on NobleProg infrastructure based in the EU, in full compliance with GDPR. It’s a multi-tenant server used by various NobleProg clients and is accessible to NobleProg.

If you decide on a server outside the EU, you should be aware that local legislation in Germany may come into play. For UK-based customers, data remains stored within the United Kingdom.

NobleProg hosted private server

This is situated within a NobleProg data centre in the EU. It’s an exclusive server reserved solely for one organisation, with no other party sharing the hardware.

Should you opt for a server outside the EU, local laws in Germany might apply.

On-Premise server

In this setup, the server sits on the organisation’s own site. The software is deployed there, and all data stays entirely under that organisation’s management.

Data categories

Here’s an overview of the types of data we collect:

User account / personal data

Shared server

Private server

On-premise server

  • To gain access to DaDesktop, you need to create an account.
  • When you sign up, you’ll share some personal information with us, such as your name, email address, username, and password.
  • We gather this data because it’s essential for granting you access and keeping our services secure.
  • Your data might be used to reach out to you regarding your account.
  • We keep your account information for as long as your account remains active.
  • You can close your account whenever you like, and once you do, we delete your account data.

  • The client can either handle user management on their own or ask NobleProg to take care of it.
  • Encryption can be applied to the server to block NobleProg from gaining any access.

  • No personal data is gathered or retained.
  • NobleProg cannot access anything.

Training Room Data (including cloud desktop activity and chat function)

Shared server

Private server

On-premise server

  • Everything that happens in the Training Room can be observed by the course instructor, training management, and our technical support team.
  • We offer this level of oversight to ensure we can allocate suitable data resources, help you troubleshoot issues, allow instructors and management to track course progress, and verify adherence to our Terms of Service.
  • Our terms of use forbid users from carrying out any personal tasks, like accessing social media, conducting financial transactions, or performing personal web searches.
  • All this data is erased once the course is marked as completed.

  • All data collected and stored is managed by the client.

  • NobleProg has no access to any of the information.

Video / Audio Data

Shared server

Private server

On-premise server

  • DaDesktop can include built-in audio and video capabilities.
  • This functionality runs on NobleProg’s own infrastructure, not through any third-party software.
  • For troubleshooting, Course Desktops (including Fresh-Start, Trainer, and Participant desktops) might be recorded, but no audio is captured. These recordings are removed 14 days after the course finishes, and only NobleProg administrators holding SuperAdmin rights can view them.

  • Any data collected and stored is the client’s responsibility.
  • If needed, Course Desktops and recordings can be captured for troubleshooting or other reasons (as described under Shared Server). The client bears full responsibility for these recordings, and thanks to an automatic deletion mechanism, they are automatically wiped after 14 days.

  • No data is ever gathered or kept.
  • NobleProg cannot access anything.

Record Feature

Shared server

Private server

On-premise server

  • Clients can decide whether to record the course desktop.
  • If recording is enabled, NobleProg stores the recording and it may be monitored. The account holder chooses when it gets deleted.
  • Should the account be cancelled, all associated recordings are erased.

  • Clients can opt to record the course desktop.
  • All data collected or stored is managed by the client.

  • NobleProg cannot access anything.
