DaDesktop: Supported CPU Architectures (ARM and AMD64)

DaDesktop provides full support, verified through automated build tests, for the following CPU platforms:

Intel and AMD x86 (AMD64) Processors

AMD

  1. Zen 2 architecture (EPYC 7002 series, Ryzen),
  2. Zen 3 (EPYC 7003, Ryzen)
  3. Zen 4 (EPYC 9004, Ryzen)
  4. Zen 5 (Engineering Sample, Qualification Sample)

We still support customers using Zen 1 (EPYC 7001) processors.

Intel

  1. Xeon E3, E5, E7 v3 and later (Haswell generation)
  2. Xeon Scalable series
  3. Core i5, i7, i9 (Haswell or newer)

Xeon Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge (Xeon E3, E5, E7) processors seem to work fine, although we do not include them in our automated tests.

ARM

  1. AWS Graviton (generations 1 through 4)
  2. Ampere® Altra® Q80-30 and newer models
  3. Kunpeng 920 and later

Most other CPU models also work well (including Apple Silicon). If you’d like to test your specific hardware, please reach out to technical support.

Risc-V

This architecture should function without issues, although we haven’t conducted extensive testing.
